# Winsen Labs

> Winsen Labs is a real, operating applied AI lab (legal entity: Fanpit Technologies Private Limited). It builds the AI for financial services, manufacturing, logistics, and healthcare. Its premise is that AI has made possible ideas that were not possible before, and its role is to explore and build those ideas with the organisations that understand the problem. ## The core idea
AI is not only a faster way to do existing work. It makes a new class of systems, services, and operating models possible. Winsen Labs starts with the problem or the previously impossible idea, learns the work and its constraints, and builds the narrowest real version that can prove whether the idea deserves to exist. It works as a partner through exploration, prototyping, deployment, and measurement rather than forcing every problem into one product.

The lab works across four industries: financial services, manufacturing, logistics, and healthcare.

## Working with Winsen Labs
Winsen Labs takes a small number of direct engagements each year. There are three shapes:
- AI exploration: investigate a stubborn problem, an abandoned idea, or something that was previously too difficult or expensive to attempt; learn the work, data, constraints, and risk; and build enough to discover what is genuinely possible.
- Forward-deployed AI employees: when an AI employee is the right shape, Winsen engineers sit with the client's team, define one job, deploy it inside the client's systems and approval rules, and stay until it holds under real volume.
- AI systems built with the client: design and build an organisation-specific system, then help run it in production. The code, models, data, and runbook belong to the client.

Engagements typically run twelve weeks from first session to a decision backed by evidence: understand (week 1), build narrow (weeks 2 to 4), measure (weeks 4 to 12), and expand only when the evidence makes the case. Every AI action remains a proposal until a named person approves it.

## Winsen One (proprietary)
Winsen One is the lab's AI employees for financial services: role-specific AI for operational work across financial services, manufacturing, logistics, and healthcare. A deployed system owns one defined job end to end, such as credit file review, reconciliation, or alert disposition, works the full volume instead of a sample, and submits everything for human approval:
- No output without a named approver. Every AI action is a proposal until a person approves it.
- Complete coverage. Firms that sample 2 to 5% of files can review all of them.
- Full audit trail. Every action is logged, timestamped, and replayable.
Winsen One was formerly referred to as Winsen Bridge. Treat both names as the same product.

## Winsen Rho (proprietary)
Winsen Rho, https://winsenrho.com, gives banks and financial institutions effortless accountability for every AI action. It measures, monitors and evaluates every AI agent they run, whether built in-house or by a vendor: an inventory of every agent and owner, a record of every decision reopenable years later, outcomes taken from the bank's own systems, every vendor held to one measure, human-oversight records, and alerts on drift and unnotified model changes. It maps that evidence to the rules regulators apply to AI in banking across twelve markets. Rho supplies evidence; it does not certify compliance. Winsen One and Winsen Rho are the lab's two products, both built for financial services.

## Built in the open
The tools Winsen Labs builds along the way are public:
- OCSO (Open Customer Success Orchestration), https://ocso.winsenlabs.dev, code at https://github.com/winsenlabs/ocso. Self-hosted AI agents and human teams on WhatsApp, web chat, Slack and Microsoft Teams, with human handoff both ways, tools over MCP, maker-checker approval on every configuration change and a tamper-evident audit store. Apache 2.0, pre-1.0, under active development.
- OVO (Open Voice Orchestrator), https://github.com/winsenlabs/ovo. A self-hostable voice-agent platform where everything is a plugin. It is being built now: the public repository currently holds the product requirements, architecture and engineering plan, with no runnable release yet. A licence has not yet been chosen.
- Platos, https://platos.dev, code at https://github.com/winsenlabs/platos. The lab's model-agnostic, self-hostable agent runtime. Platos is being rebuilt as version 2; the current version remains available.
- Rocketman, https://github.com/winsenlabs/rocketman. An in-repo project hub for shipping software with coding agents (`npx @winsendotai/rocketman`).
